The best way to see whether a pairing really have the possibility to become a couple,is to focus on their interactions with each other.Observe,how they used to behave towards each other,look closely at the moments that they were together.Find the hints that may show the proofs,that they might have a romantic feelings towards each other.There's no way you cannot see those hints,because,if they really are the intended pairing,there will be a hint that will support their revelations/confessions in the future (it is important).
Let's take a good look at every Ichihime interactions in the manga.
Pre SS arc
Chapter 2 : Starter
Orihime's character was introduced in this chapter,from this chapter,we can clearly see the hints that Orihime might have a romantic feelings towards Ichigo,since obviously,she have a crush on him.However,Ichigo's character seemed to be oblivious with her feelings towards him,hence his reaction when Orihime greeted him sweetly (he didn't get the idea).
Chapter 3 : Headhittin'
Ichigo asked Orihime if she wants him to walk her home,but because she was taken by surprise,Orihime declined his invitation.Therefore,Orihime felt disappointed,because Kurosaki kun never insisted the idea of walking her home.
Chapter 4 : Why Do You Eat It?
Ichigo came to save Orihime from Sora.Ichigo's "If you want to kill Inoue,you better kill me first" speech,was one of the reason why some people thought that he might have a romantic feelings towards Orihime as well.I wonder if they skipped the part at the middle,in which Ichigo said that "Sorry but,that's my job" ヽ（´ー｀）┌
Chapter 5 : Binda Blinda
The moment Ichigo said this...
Ichigo as a big brother,and a person who loves to protect,he didn't want to hear such thing about a brother who wants to kill their little sisters,whom they supposed to be protecting instead.
Chapter 6 : Microcrack
There isn't much to say about their interactions here,so...
Chapter 15: Jumpin' Jack Jolted
Well,there isn't any Ichihime interactions here,but another hint of Orihime's feelings for Ichigo.She noticed that the one who appeared in front of them wasn't the real Ichigo (the result of her everyday habit of observing him).
Chapter 17 : 6/17
Another chapter that have a normal Ichihime's everyday interactions (greeting).The only difference is that Orihime noticed that there's something wrong about Kurosaki kun.
Chapter 18 : Can't Smile Don't Blame
There's no Ichihime interactions,yet another Orihime to Ichigo moment,Orihime heard the story about Ichigo's Mom's death through Tatsuki.
Chapter 24 : All One Way Sympathies
Orihime to Ichigo again....Orihime's one way sympathy speech.
Chapter 27 : Spirits Ain't Always With Us
Orihime commented that Kurosaki kun is kind,and Ichigo replies to her 'nonchalantly,that it was something normal.
Chapter 33 : Rockin' Future 7
Orihime first shown a sign of her jealousy towards Ichigo and Rukia's relationship/closeness.
Chapter 35 : Can You Be My Enemy
In this chapter,we saw the very first long conversation between Ichigo and Orihime,however,what is the topic that they were talking about?...Ishida,that is...
Chapter 58 : Blank

Ichigo met Orihime on his way to Urahara's place,to go to his mission to save Rukia.

Chapter 71 : Intruderz
Ichihime shippers are again,implying that Ichigo might really have a romantic feelings for Orihime,because he gets angry when Yoruichi scolded and hit Orihime on the face,for recklessly using her power to be able to escape Seimichio.I really don't know what to say here,because clearly,that scene was just a comic relief.ヽ（´ー｀）┌
Chapter 72 : The Superchunk
Orihime wanted to help Ichigo fighting with Jidanbou,but he never let's her to help him,and so as Chad.
Chapter 73 : Drizzly Axes
Orihime is watching Ichigo's fight with Jidanbou.
Chapter 74 : Armlost,Armlost
Well,there isn't really much of interactions so far,they just wait from Jidanbou to open the door to Seretei.
Chapter 75 : Rain of Blood
Ichigo just asked Orihime to heal Jidanbou's arm.
Chapter 76 : Boarrider Comin'
It seems that Ichihime shippers always look at Ichigo's kindness,or rather should I say...politeness towards Orihime,as something special compared to the others.(¬__¬)
Well,Ichigo is actually a very nice person,in this scene,Orihime is currently healing Jidanbou's arm for quite an hour or so?Obviously,she must be exhausted,that's why Ichigo offered her a drink,and told her to take some rest.(face palm)
Chapter 77 : My Name Is Ganju
Orihime is watched Ichigo vs Ganju fight.
Chapter 78 : Meet It At Basement
They just went to Kukkaku's place,along with the nakamas,of course.
Chapter 81 : Twelve Tone Rendezvous
Ichigo wanted to continue practicing how to control his reiatsu,Orihime wanted to accompany him,but Ichigo didn't want to be disturbed and asked her to go with the others.
Chapter 82 : Conflictable Composition
Orihime left some food for Kurosaki kun.
Chapter 83 : Come With Me

This is where the Ichigo and Orihime were separated at the SS.Ichihime shippers are comparing the group separation here,with the one that took place at the HM.They are claiming that it was just the same,Ichigo didn't want to be separated from the others at the SS as well,just like he didn't want to split the group at the HM.Is it actually the same?I don't think so...can we take a look at the one that took place at the HM,once again?
At the HM,it was blatantly confirmed,that the reason that Ichigo didn't want to split the group,was specifically because of Rukia.Ichigo wanted to protect her,that's why he didn't want to split the group,so he could keep an eye on her.At the SS,there is no indication that he didn't want to separate from everyone,specifically because of Orihime,mind you.He didn't want to separate the group,because he wanted to protect everyone equally.
Chapter 164 : That Who Changed The World
Orihime is watching Kurosaki kun's fight against Byakuya,and who's fight was it for?Rukia,that's right.Orihime knew that Kurosaki kun didn't want anyone to help him with that fight,so Orihime is restraining herself from doing so.
Chapter 167 : The Burial Chamber
Orihime apologized to Kurosaki kun for not being so much of a help to everyone.Orihime also thanked Kurosaki kun for staying alive,and Ichigo replied to her as "Thanks Orihime"
This really makes me wonder,does Ichigo didn't still noticed Orihime's obvious affection towards him?In any case,that only means that he's definitely not paying much attention to her,because if he does,surely he will notice her feelings for him.It wasn't because Ichigo's character is so oblivious,mind you,Ichigo isn't that naive,he's definitely capable of noticing that kind of stuffs,if he's really paying much attention to it,especially,if it's true that he really have a romantic feelings for her.
Chapter 179 : Confession In The Twilight
Orihime is healing Kurosaki kun's wound,and Ichigo is listening to Byakuya's confession,about Hisana.
Chapter 180 : Something In The Aftermath
Orihime told Kurosaki kun that Rukia is missing.
Chapter 181 : And The Rain Left Off
Ichigo and Orihime searched for Rukia.
Chapter 182 : Get Back From The Storm
Orihime waves her goodby to Ichigo,after their mission to save Rukia.
Phew,that was so tiring,there isn't much to say,really.I tried to be patient to reach this part,at the very least,because I really wanted to show you,every chapter that Ichigo and Orihime were shown in the manga,though they aren't really interacting with each other specifically.So far,the only meaningful conversation between this two,is the one from the Blank chapter.There's no use in denying that now,after I have shown you every single chapter/moment between Ichigo and Orihime,am I right?And if you look at them without any wishful thoughts,you'll be able to see that most of them,are only from Orihime to Ichigo (one way).
Now,let's move on to the next arc...

Chapter 183 : Eyes Of The Unknown

Chapter 184 : Hush
Orihime is worried about Ichigo,she knew that he was thinking about Ishida's condition,a normal everyday observing Kurosaki kun,as usual.
Chapter 189 : Resolve
Some Ichihime shippers interpreted those scenes,as Ichigo gets angry when Hirako hugged Orihime.Seems like they have trouble in reading every panel?I wonder if they skipped this part?
Ichihime's (not generalizing) are also implying that Hirako is an Ichihime shipper (oh my). when he said something about Orihime is not Ichigo's girlfriend,as if he sees something between the two,though the reason why he said that,is to act innocently,about the reason why Ichigo dragged him out of the classroom,in which Ichigo immediately changed the topic (from hugging Orihime to Hirako's true intention). Even Orihime didn't squeal with his reaction.Seriously,there's absolutely no basis for that kind of assertions,judging by the amount and qualities of interactions that they have gone through from the previous chaptersヽ（´ー｀）┌
Chapter 192 : Conquiatadores 3 Hounded Priestess
Ichigo came to protect his nakamas (not only Orihime),unfortunately,Orihime is the only one left that remains standing.
Chapter 193 : Conquistadores 4
Orihime tried to come to Kurosaki kun,and gets badly hurt by Yammy.
Chapter 194 : Conquitadores 5
Orihime gets worried about Kurosaki kun.
Chapter 195 : Death And Strawberry Reprise.
Orihime is avoiding Kurosaki kun,because he was trying to apologize to her.
Argh! I couldn't really take this anymore.Apparently,there isn't actually much of a quality time between Ichigo and Orihime,it's hard to show everyone,every single moment (or are those even a moment at all?). Please try to understand,eh?From here,I am only going to discuss about their important interactions.
