Ichigo went to the Vizaards to fulfill his promise to get stronger and protect Orihime.

               This is one of the argument that really makes me wonder a lot.How come that there's an argument about "Ichigo went to the Vizaards to train,because of Orihime?

Hmm,some people are surmising that it might be because of this...

               There are some (not generalizing) certain people who are claiming that Ichigo is feeling more guilty and depressed,because of what happened to Orihime,because he only made the promise to protect,solely to her.Therefore,some people are really trying to make a big deal out of this,though....based from my analysis,the reason why KT showed Ichigo apologized and promised to protect "only" to Orihime is because...click this --->[link].


               In any case,those people were implying that Ichigo went to the Vizaards to train,in order to fulfill his promise to get stronger and protect Orihime.

               Seems like,skipping some pages is a common thing while reading BLEACH,eh?Maybe,they just miraculously skipped this page as well...

Rukia : If you're afraid of not being able to protect your FRIENDS.Swear to get STRONGER until you can protect THEM.

                Rukia is not talking about swearing to protect Orihime ALONE.She said FRIENDS,and THEM,not ONLY Orihime.

                According to what am I seeing,Ichigo is also depressed and guilty for what happened to Chad and Tatsuki.Ichigo is so depressed because of failing to protect his friends (not only Orihime),and no one can manage to cheer him up,and move on,not even Orihime.In fact,what she said to him,only made him even more depressed,because she was rejecting the only thing he knew he could do,which is...to APOLOGIZE.

                She asked him not to apologize.Ichigo,at that very moment,doesn't know what to do aside from apologizing.Unfortunately,the only thing he thought he could do,was even rejected.Then suddenly,a familiar woman came back,what happened next?

                Rukia told him about what kind of man he really is,in her own POV.After hearing those words from Rukia,what is Ichigo's reaction?

               Ichigo is  finally back to normal.Although,I understand the argument about,Orihime just didn't know the exact words to say unlike Rukia,yet,aren't those people are the one's who's so adamant to insist that Orihime knew Ichigo,more than anyone in the manga?If it's true,don't you think,she should be able to know the exact words to say?Don't tell me anything about experiences again,because it wasn't the problem here.The problem is,Orihime didn't know how to handle Ichigo's behavior,or simply because,Orihime doesn't have the "effect" that Rukia have towards Ichigo,that's why,she got jealous of Rukia.

               One thing that those people need to realize.If Ichigo truly went to the Vizaards because of Orihime,why didn't he do that,right after she was attacked by Yammy?

                Not only that,I have also seen some people making a big deal over the scene where Ichigo went to the place where Orihime (Chad and Tatsuki) was hurt by Yammy,but he never went to the place where Rukia was hurt by GJ.

                Ichigo  really didn't go to the place where Rukia was hurt by GJ,it's true.However,he have thought about him as well,not to mention,with an even more venom in his expression (compared to UlquiYammy's panel) after remembering GJ's demonic grin after stabbing the hell out of Rukia.Can we take a closer look at his expression?



               See his face?...does he look angry?....nope,that's not how an angry person looks like (especially,when we are talking about Ichigo).What his expression shows is guilt and sadness...True that he went to the place where Orihime,Chad and Tatsuki are beaten up,and KT never drew the part where he went to the place where Rukia was beaten up by GJ.Ichihime shippers kept on asking,why did Ichigo only went back to the place where Orihime (Chad and Tatsuki) was beaten up by Yammy,and did not come back to the place where Rukia was beaten up by GJ?They were implying that Ichigo was more affected because of what happened to Orihime,than what happened to Rukia.Eh?And they seem to forget that it isn't ONLY Orihime who was hurt there,but Chad and Tatsuki too,so...what's so special about it?...can we take a look at it again?



                Hmmm...he doesn't really seem angry right?And what is the next scene after these?....like I said,KT never drew Ichigo came back to the place where Rukia was beaten up by GJ,but he did think of GJ,and what is his reaction?What is GJ's image that marked his memory of him?



                WOAH!!!! Ichigo was pissed,he was totally pissed off by GJ,he even remembered GJ's demonic grin after punching a hole through * COUGH* Rukia *COUGH*.eh?

                Did you noticed the difference between the panels where Ichigo was thinking of Yammy and Ulquiora and the panels of Ichigo thinking of GJ now?In UlquiYammy's panel,he was sad (guilty),but in GJ's panel,Ichigo was obviously ANGRY,his face darkened after having a thought of GJ.Why is it that GJ is the one that made him ANGRY like that?though it is only Rukia who was hurt in his hands,while his expression is completely different with Yammy who hurt three among his nakamas,with his BESTFRIEND,and *COUGH* his secret LOVE interest *COUGH*?


                While both expression shows that Ichigo was so affected with both of those incidents,KT made a difference as to how to portray his behavior in each situation.


in any case...

                Some may argue that his angry expression was from the nakamas being hurt and Rukia as adding the fire to all of that,that's why he was so angry,but the way I read the panels,it really tells me that he was only very angry over GJ,and only sad and guilty with UlquiYammy.If that is what KT wants to convey in his story,then I guess he should put those panels like these.

               At the beginning,Ichigo have already knew that he should do something about his hollow,and he said that himself,that Hirako need not have to tell him about it.He already knew that Hirako could have helped him about his hollow,but still,he didn't do it,even after getting defeated by Yammy,who injured and almost killed Chad,Tatsuki AND Orihime,even himself.Ichigo went to Hirako for a help,only when Rukia is the one who gets hurt by GJ.Judging how the events turned out,obviously,the reason why he went to the Vizaards,is because of Rukia,mind you.

For the stubborn people...

GJ: Yo,I was lookin' for you shinigami.
Ichigo: that's my line.

                Proves that he was specifically looking for GJ,but aren't Yammy was there too?The one who almost killed Chad and Tatsuki,and most of all,he's the one who made Orihime *COUGH* the LOVE of his life *COUGH* badly injured?Wouldn't it be much worthy to fight with him,who injured three of his friends,including the *COUGH* implied LOVE of his life?*COUGH*,Instead of GJ who only injured *COUGH* Rukia *COUGH*  ALONE?

               See?it wasn't really that hard to understand,that Ichigo never went to the Vizaards to train because of Orihime.

For further explanation,Ichigo went to the Vizaards because...

               After being so depressed because of his FAILURE to protect his friends,Ichigo made that vow as his resolve.Right as in I mean,as his RESOLVE.This vow isn't done for Orihime's sake,or should I say,not for her sake alone,but for all his NAKAMAS and most of all,for Ichigo himself,that's why Rukia brought him to her.Because she knew that Ichigo needs to do it,to be able to face his friends again.However,even after talking to Rukia,Ichigo still didn't go to the Vizaards for help.But what happened next?......



                There we see,the one who showed her faith in him,who believes in him,who gave him back his self confidence,the one who gave him his resolve,was badly hurt in front of him.He failed to protect her.That is the fight that made him felt completely defeated,when he  failed again,this time,to PROTECT the one who showed confidence in him,not to mention,she was caught off guard because she tried to PROTECT him.That is the reason why he felt completely defeated.

To be able to explain how Ichigo felt at that moment,I am going to use this...

                Do you know that the GrimIchi fight (1st round) is being paralleled with Ichigo's fight against Grand Fisher?the hollow who killed his Mom.

                That is Grand Fisher,the one who killed Ichigo's Mom,the most important person for Ichigo.The one he wants to protect the most.Let's see his fight with him again.

                The enemy flew away,and he was trying to stop him from leaving,saying that their fight isn't over yet.He was too angry.Same goes here...

                Ichigo saying it once again,that their fight isn't over yet.Ichigo is so adamant to beat the hell out of GJ.Ichigo was very angry as well.

And here's another one from Grand Fisher fight.

Ichigo thinks he LOST in their fight,because he's not done with his vengeance for his Mom's death...

And what did he said to Rukia after this battle?...Here it is.....

               He asked her to let him become a shinigami for a longer time,he wants to become stronger,why?...to defeat Grand Fisher....why?...because of these.

                Ichigo wants to become stronger,to be able to fight for others as well,because he didn't want to see other people suffering the same pain that he have gone through,most importantly,to be able to face his Mom.To become stronger and protect the others was Ichigo's RESOLVE,so that he'll be able to face his Mom.

Same goes here....

                 He felt he's completely LOST,He failed her..... (Rukia),her beliefs in him.The man in her POV/HEART,failed once again.That is the reason why he went to the Vaizards....why?.....TO TRAIN.....why?......TO BECOME STRONGER.....why?.....to be able to protect his friends.....why?.....BECAUSE THAT IS THE KIND OF MAN THAT RUKIA,KNEW HE WAS,the kind of man,that will never GIVE up just because he was once defeated.And most importantly,he wants to become stronger to DEFEAT GJ.....why?....to be ABLE TO FACE RUKIA.

                Judging by everything that happened,it's obvious,that the reason why Ichigo went to the Vizaards to train,is definitely because of Rukia.Though everyone have the right to stick with their own opinion/interpretation to the story,denying the blatant truth,or simply misunderstanding,still...the correct one will always be the one to prevail.
